7A04 aluminum bar belongs to al-zn-mg-cu series ultra-high strength aluminum alloy, also known as superhard aluminum, which is quite mature in superhard aluminum. It is used for a long time and a wide range of alloys.High strength, good strengthening effect of heat treatment, medium plasticity under annealing and new quenching;Different from duralumin, corrosion resistance in manual aging state is better than that in natural aging state, and the natural aging process is slow, which can only reach the aging hardening peak after 3 months. Therefore, 7A04 is used in quenching artificial aging state.Its disadvantages are low stability of the structure, low fatigue strength at low frequency and stress corrosion cracking tendency.The alloy has good weldability in spot welding, poor gas welding, good machinability after heat treatment, but poor machinability after annealing.

USES:

7A04 aluminum bar is mainly used to manufacture aircraft structures and other high-stress structures requiring high strength and corrosion resistance, such as aircraft, lower wing facing panels, truss bars, etc.Good plasticity after solid solution treatment, good heat treatment strengthening effect, good strength below 150 degrees, and has particularly good low temperature strength, poor welding performance, a tendency to stress corrosion cracking.Also widely used in mold processing, mechanical equipment, fixtures, aerospace industry, blow molding (bottle) mold, ultrasonic plastic welding mold, golf head, shoe mold, paper mold, foam molding mold, dewaxing mold, mechanical equipment, used in the production of high-end aluminum alloy bicycle frame.In 2014, it will be used for the first time as the body material of the smartphone OPPO N3.
