I don't know if you have any understanding of the production process of aluminum plate. Besides our common hot rolling process, there is also the casting and rolling process. Today, the manufacturer of 2A12 aluminum plate would like to talk with you about the difference between the casting and rolling process of 2A12 aluminum plate and the hot rolling process.
Casting and rolling process: casting - crystal cooling forming - finishing rolling
The aluminum ingots and the desired alloys are first fused directly to form a 2A12 aluminum plate liquid, which is then cooled to form a cast-rolled blank of the desired width. The billet is cooled to a certain temperature by lubricant and rolled to form a 2A12 aluminum plate.
Hot rolling process: casting - slag removal - milling surface - heating - hot rolling - finishing rolling
The casting alloy to be performed is treated into liquid slag and then formed into the ingot, which cannot be completely removed due to the impurities attached to the surface of the alloy during the casting at a higher temperature, and the ingot is therefore milling, grinding the ingot to a surface of about 20mm thickness to reduce the impurities of the alloy. Then, the casting block is heated at a high temperature to maintain a certain temperature of the enterprise. Recrystallization will result in more uniform crystallization and more abundant and fine grains. Then, under the influence of high temperature, it is analyzed and rolled to form hot rolled blank and finally finished rolling.
Compared with the billet, the hot rolled material has fewer impurities, and due to the recrystallization process, its internal structure is more stable and uniform. The formed 2A12 aluminum plate has better properties and ductility than the cast rolled material.
The above is the difference between casting and rolling process of 2A12 aluminum plate and hot rolling process. If you need 2A12 aluminum plate, please contact us.
